Once upon a time, I studied digital photography and was instructed in various types of the art. I loved lifestyle and food photography and the idea of journalism and travel as a means to create content. The absolute best class was Food Styling, taught by Annette Joseph, which partnered the photography students with culinary students. What a rich experience and such good food! I began to dream that one day I would travel and review destinations, excursions, and dining experiences. Life had other plans though and as a mom of young children, jet-setting was not in the cards at the time. I fiddled around with some Google reviews and my Instagram page heavily featured food photography but recently, I was encouraged to reach for more. I believe the opportunities of life and God himself have led me to a pretty sweet chance to live my dream. I never forgot and neither did God! It may not be my vocation, but I can no longer justify why not me and why not now. So come along on my adventures as I travel with my husband and get inspired by the flavors we find along the way.
